[vc_column_textTradeco Urbana is building, in the Gildardo Muñoz Community, the Papantla Penitentiary Center, one of a kind in the country, since it has four security areas: supermaximum, maximum, medium and minimal, as well as an area for special attention to inmates with psychological problems and infectious-contagious diseases.
The Papantla Penitentiary has approximately 914 932.39 ft2 of construction and occupies 69.3 ac. Foundations were laid on reinforced concrete pilings with a 31.4 in diameter and a 19.6 ft depth. Is a multi-custody federal penitentiary complex for 2 144 inmates, which will allow for the first time to have four different custody levels in a single facility. All of the cells are prefabricated on site with reinforced concrete, mounted on a large slab of reinforced concrete, suspended 23.62 in above ground level.
The Papantla Penitentiary Center includes in its facilities the national observation and classification center, which will allow the authorities to make an adequate classification of the inmates.
