Along the Mexico-Pachuca Federal Highway, within the facilities of Military Air Base No. 1, in Santa Lucía, State of Mexico, Tradeco Urbana undertook the rehabilitation of 2 798 616.71 ft2 in runway 04-22, including the substitution of asphalt with hydraulic concrete, signalization and electromechanical equipping, as well as maintenance on the 1 560 767.01 ft2 of platforms and 495 139.88 ft2 of taxiways.
This runway is 11 341.86 ft-long and 242.78 ft-wide, being the largest in the whole country, able to handle simultaneous takeoffs, and meets the service and functionality characteristics and standards of an international grade runway. On the other hand, the southern, central and northern logistics platforms were entirely refurbished with hydraulic concrete; in Alfa, Echo and Fox taxiways, asphaltic paving and pothole repair work was done, also repaving half of the main platform with asphalt, while the rest was restructured with hydraulic concrete.
